The Brotherhood of Voarchadumia You are members of a secret society of alchemists, called Voarchadumia, and you are headed to Paris to learn from Nicolas Flamel the secret to creating a magical object, capable of transforming any metal into gold, and to produce the Elixir of Long Life, which makes anyone who drinks it immortal. Indeed, Nicholas Flamel is still alive thanks to the Elixir of Long Life that he has been producing in his laboratory for centuries. The secret of the formula and the stone are kept in a small magical chest that Flamel must defend at all costs: if it fell into the wrong hands it could lead to the destruction of humanity. Upon your arrival, you make a terrible discovery: Nicolas Flamel is gravely wounded due to a conflict with the Lord of Shadows, a powerful and extremely evil wizard, whose goal is to seize the secret formula and use the elixir to make all beings live in a realm of terror and evil. Nicolas has managed to send the key to the magical chest, which contained the stone and the formula to create it, through a Time Door, to Villa Ricoletti, from his great-grandson Umberto Ricoletti, a seventh-year student at the world's most famous magic school, with the request to keep everything safe until your arrival. Nicolas is very weak and with the little strength left, he gives you directions to reopen the Time Door and go retrieve the key. Upon arriving at Villa Ricoletti, through the Time Door, you find yourself in an unusual memory room, the door is locked and you are stuck inside with no trace of Umberto. Outside the room, at first, you hear a great commotion, then silence: only a large, anomalous silence. Could the Lord of the Shadows already be there? You have one hour to break all the spells, find the key, and produce the elixir to save Nicolas and all of humanity from a life in the realm of the Lord of the Shadows.
