We are in the year 1986 in the former Soviet Union, the present North Ukraine in the area of Pryp’jat, and precisely inside the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Operational since 1970, the power plant has fulfilled its duty of supplying energy to the entire area and providing jobs to thousands of people. On the night of April 25 and 26, 1986 at 01:23 am during a test on reactor 4, something happened that proved to be fatal. The plant's safety system detects a malfunction of the cooling system and the reactor's temperature starts to rise uncontrollably. The breakdown that has occurred is irreversible or at least, it cannot be repaired in time to prevent a disaster. The alarm is sounded and the immediate evacuation of the entire plant is ordered. Many people manage to escape, but after just a few minutes the first explosion occurs and the plant's safety system automatically activates sealing all exits to prevent the dispersion of radiation. The worst thing is that you have not managed to escape and have become trapped inside one of the containment chambers. You have 60 minutes left before radiation exposure becomes too high and certain death is guaranteed.
