Known as one of the most influential thinkers in psychology, he became renowned for treating the most severe and equally bizarre cases worldwide, earning respect and esteem from the highest ranks in the scientific field. His Italian origins eventually led him to permanently relocate to Parma, which soon became the stage for his disturbed mind.
