The house in the forest

When a year ago you were hired to investigate the case of little Anna, the missing girl, you thought it was a case of missing person, as you had seen many in your career. You could have never imagined that you were following a trail of crimes that started a long time ago, so much so that it hid the blood trail that led you to this forest in the middle of the night. It's pouring rain, you almost feel like you're hearing steps next to you, in a place forgotten by everyone. You don't even have time to realize where your partner's scream is coming from as a blow knocks you out. You wake up a few hours later with a headache, among the bushes you think you see a light...a lantern...which faintly illuminates a house in the forest...
