In the damp atrium, figures whisper among the shadows, their legs weary from the long journey to that solitary plateau. The monastery has not been heard from for two years: no letters, no response. Only silence, and the people down in the valley are beginning to seek an explanation for something unexplainable. The Abbot sent them there, via nearly forgotten roads and mountain passes: five monks to solve the mystery. What happened in this place at the end of the world?
